Digital Challenges Workshops

As Ontario continues to grow and strengthen its economy, the delivery and lifecycle management of the buildings and infrastructure required to support it must be improved. The construction industry continues to lose productivity and is quickly falling behind. 

To understand this trend more deeply, Digital Built Ontario is hosting a series of workshops to explore the challenges Ontario is facing with digital adoption.

Goals

• Identify issues to digital adoption at scale in the buildings and infrastructure industry

• Determine appropriate metrics to measure digital success

• Create a baseline measurement

• Reduce fragmentation related to digitalization

• Identify opportunities and challenge statements for new Ontario companies to support digitalization

Format

• 4-5 hour workshop

• Brief industry presentations to provide context or information

• Several questions will be posed to the audience

• Multidisciplinary groups at each table will explore and debate the questions

• Responses will be recorded and organized into a report

We are planning on hosting three workshops: National Capital Region, Greater Toronto Area, and Southwestern Ontario.
